Paula Hems, owner/operator of Rural People Ltd, has almost 30 years’ experience in Human Resources and Recruitment. Rural People Ltd has grown out of her desire and passion for working with the New Zealand Dairy Industry.

Working as a team we are experts in sourcing the best possible people to work on your dairy farm.

For us, ‘team’ means more than just ourselves; it includes the employers we partner with and the candidates we support, working closely with both to ensure the perfect match.

What we do

Finding the right person isn’t just about matching a skill set, it’s about ensuring that the new person is going to fit in with your team. When we find the right person our service includes employment contract, job description, immigration paperwork (if required) and labour market testing. We will continually work with you to ensure the employees smooth transition into your workplace.
